Celebrating Graduates: A Special Thank You to Our Host Families!

As another school year comes to a close, we find ourselves in one of the most meaningful moments of the international student journey—graduation. For many students, this marks not just the end of high school, but the beginning of an exciting new chapter: college, independence, and life beyond their host family’s home. It’s a time filled with pride, reflection, and anticipation—and none of it would be possible without the unwavering support of our dedicated host families.

To all our host parents: thank you. Thank you for opening your homes and hearts. Thank you for the home-cooked meals, the rides to and from school, the late-night conversations, and the quiet encouragement that carried your student through moments of challenge and triumph. Your care has made a lasting impact, not just academically, but emotionally and culturally. You’ve given your students more than a place to stay—you’ve given them a sense of belonging and the confidence to chase their dreams.

As your students don their caps and gowns, know that this celebration belongs to you too. You were a steady presence through their transitions, and now you’ve helped launch them into the next phase of their lives. Whether they are heading to college here in the U.S. or abroad, your influence and guidance will travel with them.

Many host families form lifelong bonds with their students, and we wholeheartedly encourage that continued connection. Staying in touch—whether through texts, holiday cards, or visits—can be a beautiful way to keep your shared story going. These relationships often grow into extended family ties that stretch across continents and generations.

So today, we honor you. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to help a student grow. You’ve made a lasting difference, and we celebrate this milestone with deep gratitude for all you’ve done.

Here’s to your graduate—and to the legacy of care that you’ve helped create.
