On February 5, we hosted one of our most engaging and interactive events yet—Dumpling Night! This special Host Webinar brought together host families and international students for a fun-filled evening of cultural exchange and hands-on cooking.
Our Student Council members—Jennifer, Hayley, and Grace—took center stage, leading a live dumpling-making demonstration that captivated attendees. Host families didn’t just watch—they joined in, rolling, folding, and cooking alongside our student leaders. The result? A truly immersive experience that deepened connections between students and their host families.
The positive response from participants was overwhelming. This event reinforced the power of cultural experiences combined with interactive activities—a key part of building a welcoming and enriching homestay environment.
