Last month, Cambridge Network’s local support coordinator treated our Lakeridge students to an exciting paintball adventure — and it did not disappoint!
This popular outing has become one of the highlights of the year, and it’s no surprise that the students themselves requested to bring it back after how much fun they had last year. From planning their team strategies to celebrating friendly victories, the students dove right into the experience — laughter, camaraderie, and a few colorful paint splatters included!
Beyond the fun and excitement, events like this play an important role in helping international students adjust to life in the U.S. They provide a safe and welcoming environment where students can connect with one another outside of the classroom, practice teamwork, and strengthen friendships with peers who share similar experiences.
For many international students, opportunities like these are more than just a social outing — they’re a chance to build confidence, step outside their comfort zones, and experience new aspects of American culture in a hands-on, memorable way. Whether it’s their first time paintballing or a returning favorite, every student leaves with stories, smiles, and stronger connections to their Cambridge community.
