Earlier this month, gphomestay’s Amber Perry was interviewed at the 31st Annual Calhoun County (AL) Business to Business Expo by TV24 on the merits of becoming an international student’s host family.

Amber used the opportunity to reach out to potential host families for students attending The Donoho School in Anniston, Alabama, a college preparatory school with 350 students in kindergarten through 12th grade.
As Amber aptly explained, a host family must make a commitment to a 10-month school year and must simply be a “welcoming, warm home.”
