Mooncakes are a staple during the Chinese Moon Festival, which lands on September 27th this year. They are round like a full moon which is a symbol of peace, prosperity, and reunion for the whole family. Eating mooncakes is a way to express familial love and best wishes for harmonious and well-rounded lives. Many grocery stores sell mooncakes in the international foods aisle, but making your own is a great way to bond with your student!
