To show appreciation for all the hard working and incredibly caring host families, Cambridge Network held a Host Family Appreciation Contest. We asked our Support Services Coordinators and international students to nominate the host families that they believe go above and beyond in their role as a host to international students.
We received some incredible stories from both our staff and students that set the bar high for future host families. The Host Appreciation Contest featured three categories for student nominations, and three categories for Support Services Coordinators.
Student Nomination Categories:
Most Fun Host – The winner of this award goes above and beyond to make sure their international student has the best time doing any activity- whether it is school related, Cambridge Homestay related, or family related.

Most Supportive Host – The winner of this award is always there for their international student. Whether it’s help with homework, after school activities, fitting in, culture shock or life in general, you know you can go to this host for anything and everything.
